Dr Jenna Little graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Animal Science. She attended veterinary school in St George's Grenada at the St George's University School of Veterinary Medicine. She did her Senior Year at Virginia Tech Veterinary School and graduated in 2006. She then began a year long internship at Ledgewood Equine outside Rochester, NY and spent three years in private practice before starting her own practice in 2010.

Dr Little and her family live on Heritage Harvest Farm which has been run by Elizabeth for more then 30 years and has been boarding horses for more then 15. Dr Jenna grew up with a POA pony, a Thoroughbred, and an Arabian. As a teenager she rode jumped a TB mare and began to compete in Morgan breed shows driving her mare Vanity Fair. Dr Little has several full size and miniature horses as well as several cats, 7 dogs and Myrtle the turtle. Dr Little and her family enjoy fostering dogs and cats for the Humane Society of Washington County. Dr Jenna loves to drive her mini's in her spare time.


EricaDr Jenna also volunteers as a Leader for the Red Ribbon 4-H horse and pony Club. For more then 8 Years Dr Jenna has helped kids show their ponies at the Washington County Ag Expo and the Maryland State Fair. Dr Jenna was president of the Red Ribbon Club when she was in 4-H as a teenager, and she continues to be involved in educating tomorrows horse owners through the 4-H program.


Elizabeth Smedley is HHEC's office manger as well as Dr Little's mother. She is retired and has never been so busy. If you call the office more than likely she will help you and answer all your questions. She is great at "tracking Dr Jenna down" and is a joy to work with. She also enjoys watching her grand kids grow up as well as sitting by the fire playing sodoku.
